It’s amazing how life seems to get in the way sometimes. Be clear of what you want, and don’t stop until you find it. I’ve always been pretty open minded. Who knew where I would end up. I always took steps to make sure it wasn’t anywhere bad, but I didn’t want to limit myself with a narrow idea of what I could have. How do you decide what you want and still be open to all the experiences life can offer? How does it seem to go by so quickly?
So here I stand, it’s still a bit hazy in front of me but I have more experience every day and every day I am more prepared to face whatever I may find on my quest. But along the way, and while I know I do want to “make the world a better place” I also want to stay true to the roots of this site. Several years ago I began collecting images, drawn by children, that represent what “Be a Better Place” means to them- and what it could mean to the world. Today I begin the second wave of that initiative. I will start a podcasting series - still figuring it out myself so don’t ask yet- but it will explore this issue on a personal level, and also look at where it came from. I know I think the world would be a better place if people said thank you. But interestingly, WHY I think may be important as well. For it is the basis of the phrase and change that really speaks to what matters to us all. The words we chose may embody the action but the meaning is what truly gives us insight into what matter most.
I’m looking forward to it.
